     I'm posting up my August favorites and I don't buy a lot of new products because i'm once I find products I usually pick up a routine with them . I tend to stay with the products for about more than 6 moths.  However I have but i've been shopping lately and I have found some amazing products I want to share with you guys that I am in love with!

My Ombre Experience ♡

So not to long ago I finally got to ombre my hair for summer , I was so ecstatic about doing it but was scared about the bleaching process. I know bleach has very harmful chemicals that can basically fry your hair causing someone to cut that section of hair off. I know for me that was not an option so everything had to be done perfectly. If you don't have the extra income to spend on getting it professionally done , like me , then do your research. I did extensive research on how to bleach ,how long to keep it in and the after care. However with the after care I went a different route..Unfortunately this isn't a vlog because I've already dyed it.

So to begin with the bleach I used was by Loreal 30 developer  and obviously powder bleach because my hair is so dark I had to use a high volume to lift my black hair. I mixed it for about 3 minutes then put it at the very ends of my hair and let it set for about a hour because thats when I saw my desired hair color.Other with light hair can probably wait about 30-45 minutes. I think went up more on my hair then let the bleach stay for about 30 minutes to get that nice gradient effect. My hair came out splendid but didn't have the same texture of course.

My hair came out just the way I wanted but in real life the blonde was ten times more intense !

So for after care I then used this amazing Olive oil shampoo and conditioner that I used right after bleaching it. I shampooed as normal and the instructions said leave the conditioner in for 45 minutes. It did wonders for my hair and had my hair feeling as if I had never bleached it ! You can purchase this treatment at your local wal-mart for around 5 dollars.

Then on the days when I wouldn't wash my hair I would use Argon oil all over my head to treat split ends , speed up the growing process and keep my hair hydrated. However be careful not to over hydrate cause that easily make your hair break because it's so soft. I then and still do take biotin took keep my hair healthy and growing normally! You can purchase the oil at CVS or Sally's beauty supply and the biotin from wal-mart.

Summer Necessities ♡

So it's that time of year again where the heat is at an all time high and I basically want to walk around nude. But since that is socially unacceptable I have a few summer necessities that help me get through Florida's unbearable heat. This post will show you what I need during this heat and how I maintain a matte face when deep down I'm sweating up a monsoon.  

So for starters we need to break out the shorts for obvious reason. I realized the blue and black denim shorts are constantly worn during this time of year and have yet to fade. I bought a pair of colored shorts recently to add a pop of color to my wardrobe and it's very summer-y. I also purchased the hampton shirt that you see in the bottom left corner. They were 50% off , light-weight and breathable ♡   

We then go into cute bathing suits for the summer that can not only be worn by it's self but in my case a bodysuits paired with cute shorts or even some nice high-waisted pair of pants. The reason why I defiantly recommend wearing these as bodysuits is because since they're made for swim wear they're able absorb in type of body fluid or water. In our case sweat , yes I know gross, but think about when you're going to a concert or just out around town and you're wearing a normal shirt. Not only will the sweat stains show but it will smell but not with swim suits.

I live in these spandex crop tops because you can dress them up or down for summer and winter ! They're accentuate and flatter your body in every way and can be paired with anything.

Now for makeup , When I wore foundation I would switch to Tinted moisturizer for the summer because its light weight , provides a decent amount of coverage , and has SPF in it to protect your skin from the sun. I then used a setting spray that I got from ebay because I want to keep everything in place  and keep my face hydrated but not oily looking. Later I go in with waterproof mascara and liquid eyeliner because I  tend to sweat around my eye during the day which caused my mascara to drip down my eyes making me look like a hoodrat. However with the power of water proof that doesn't happen anymore and I've heard waterproof damages your lashes so what I do to prevent that is using a little scoop of vaseline and putting them on my lashes to prevent that and keep them nourished.

Drugstore Versus High-end Makeup ♡

Lord knows I am a high-end cosmetic junkie at times ; for example I will buy a $20 dollar mascara to make my eyes really stand out and lashes as high the sky. Hell I will even shell out $30 dollars for a nice coverage foundation. However along the years of my experience and experimentation with makeup I've discovered you don't need a $30 foundation when you can get it for $10 because the $10 dollar foundation works just as well. I really want to make a post dedicated to showing that not all drugstore makeup is scary and cheap like people have made it out to be and showing you the 3 main products that I recommend that are drugstore brands for everyday looks ! 

• First of foundation ; the base that will give you a flawless working canvas for the rest of your makeup.

I have very oily skin so I when I was using foundation I needed something that was going to keep my face matte but with a little dewy look and Revlon 24hour  Colorstay foundation was perfect. It seriously does last long , even after a rowdy night..trust me. You get this beautiful coverage just as you would from MAC's studio fix foundation , it is very build-able without getting cakey ,and does not break out your skin.

• Secondly we have mascara ; Now I am a huge sell out and admit I will spend more than 20 bucks for an amazing mascara but recently I have found a cheap yet effective alternative.

I am a self-proclaimed mascara junkie and have tried at least 3 or 4 dozen kinds before. I just keep coming back to this one. I love the mascara called Illegal Length Fiber Extensions by Maybelline. To start off I have I have thin average eyelashes and basically any mascara will make them long and thick. However , me being me , I want more and I love dramatic long and thick eyelashes. This mascara helps me achieve that look and I often get compliments and people asking me if am wearing false eyelashes or layers of mascara. So instead of resorting to MAC , Urban Decay etc.. give this mascara a try.

• Last but not least an eyebrow pencil ;   A nice eyebrow pencil that can fill in my brows is the Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil. 

It perfectly define's my brows and stays matte through out the day. I bought this eyebrow pencil because I forgot my makeup bag and I needed to buy  a cheap essential to get me through the weekend. This eyebrow pencil is the perfect shade and it looks natural and is easy to apply. it beats spending $30 dollars on MAC's eyeshadow to fill my brows in.

5 Makeup Products I Can't Live Without

Hello again ! Today I want to talk about the 5 makeup products I can't live without and why I love them to bits ! So I will start from greatest to least most needed products , even though they are all pretty much needed. but anyways let's get started :

  L'Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes

I love this mascara. It stays on without flaking, running, or raccoon-eyes. I don't have to struggle with removing it thus avoiding losing eyelashes. It satisfies my need for longer lashes without having to apply multiple coats. Though it's price is at the higher end of drug store brands, it is half the price of high end mascara's!

 MAC Eyeshadow in Carbon

MAC Carbon is just a good staple matte black eyeshadow. It is smooth and soft, easy to work with and is easy to build with. I find this eyeshadow very wearable, even during the day. I use it to fill in my brows everyday and have yet to hit the pan of it. This shadow does not only has a long life span but is very durable during the day. I can recall when I went to warped tour and I was drenched in sweat yet my brows were still somewhat intact afterwards. Like I said It's build-able and can be worn quite sheer, turning it into more of a very dark grey than black. I find this eyeshadow very useful and easy to work with while using my angled brush.

Revlon ColorStay Blemish Concealer

I find this concealer to be my go to concealer and easy to apply. I find it easy to blend using my ring finger and I have never had breakouts from this and will continue to use it.

 MAC False Lashes

I was extremely skeptical when I bought this product... I have never, ever liked any MAC mascara products before but the sales person really sold me on it. I'm really happy I did buy it because it has been the best mascara I've ever used other the double extend mascara. Contrary to my last tangent about not having to buy high-end mascaras this is worth it ! This mascara separates, adds volume, lengthens and curls (so much so I don't have to even use a curler anymore). Price is completely reasonable and you get a lot out of it. The one downside to this mascara is that I find the color tends to soften a bit at the end of the day. I'm a person who likes intensely black lashes, and this kind of bums me out, but I can settle since the overall product is amazing.

Maybelline Dream Fresh 8-in-1 BB Cream

I don't have bad acne , just a few scars left over from years ago due to acne but this bb cream actually provides nice coverage , even though sheer , and leaves my skin feeling so nice and actually matches my skin shade. This works great on my combination skin that tends to be dry on my cheeks and slightly oily in the zone as the day goes on. It gives just a very sheer coverage but I believe it does what it claims and blurs my imperfections rather that covering them. I like it for my lazy days off instead of a heavy foundation. I have also found that it works well under my foundation as a primer.
